Design Director, Cooking.com | 2005 - 2011

Starbucks Store was the first Powered-by Cooking.com partner, with it's original launch in 2005, allowing customers to order the complete line-up of Starbucks coffees online. The site provided detailed descriptions of each coffee, including country of origin or characteristics of the blends, as well as flavor notes and suggestions for other coffees that match preferred taste profiles. Starbucks Store was also an early pioneer in subscription ordering, allowing customer to choose the amount and frequency of their coffee deliveries and manage it online.

In 2009, one of my first major projects at Cooking.com was an overhaul of the entire site to update the branding (re-designed version shown in slides above), completed in just 30 days. Below I've included some other custom landing pages I developed, including a series of coffee and tea gift tours, and a page to introduce the launch of VIA, Starbucks' line of instant coffee. We worked closely with the Starbucks brand in site design and e-mail marketing over the years — their seasonal holiday style guides even inspired us to create our own versions of seasonal guides for our Cooking.com and CHEFS Catalog brands.
