User Interface Design

At Radical Share (internal agency for NECA, Loot Crate, Kidrobot) I had the opportunity to lead the design of several Comic-Con booths that featured a 'build your own crate' experience where event-goers could select items from different product groupings (a figure, an apparel item, a homegoods item, a pin or small item) to build their own personalized crate. This was such a success that we decided to build a digital version to bring this experience to the web - and it needed to be built FAST.

Based on the user feedback and learnings from the in-person version, I began with a user flow that detailed out what the user journey could look like on the site as well as additional considerations we would to discuss with key stakeholders before moving forward. See the User Flow below.

After coming to a concensus on the basic requirements, I started by building out wireframes, moving quickly to pin down the overall structure of the site. From there I worked in an agile workflow to further develop the styles, components, and ultimately a clickable prototype for the development team to work from. See the Wireframes and Prototype below.
